Paramount Business Jets is proud to offer our clients a unique and unforgettable experience this winter with a chance to be a part of history at the upcoming XXI Olympic Winter Games in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Held from February 12-28th 2010, the Olympic Winter Games will include 86 winter sports and events such as Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh, Cross Country Skiing, Figure Skating, Snowboarding and much more. With over 97 nations qualified as of November 12th 2009, the 2010 Olympic Winter Games promises to be a spectacular international event with spectators and visitors expected from all corners of the World.

Due to the number of individuals travelling to the Games this winter we anticipate a significant increase in demand for private charters during the Games and have been notified of very restrictive security procedures for all private aircraft. The Vancouver Winter Olympic security requires all private aircraft traveling into Vancouver International to pass several layers of security, including landing at a “Gateway Airport”. This is complemented by an extensive security check of passengers and the aircraft before the aircraft is allowed to continue on to Vancouver. Furthermore, all aircraft operators are required to secure a ramp reservation, a slot time reservation to the gateway airport where security checks will be performed and an additional slot time reservation at Vancouver International. Finally once in Vancouver, passengers and crew will be required to clear customs before being allowed to exit the aircraft.
